THE STRUCTURE OF SECURE RETIREMENT
Secure Retirement functions as an independent Registered Investment Advisor. This allows us to focus solely on the needs of our clients. As an independent advisor, we have access to thousands of low-cost investments to fill every financial need.
Most of our accounts are managed at Charles Schwab & Company (we also use Pershing, LLC). Clients have accounts, in their own name, with Charles Schwab & Company, and have online access to their accounts at all times.
We charge a yearly fee (billed on a quarterly basis) for managing your account, and we do not receive any other type of compensation. This means we do not receive any commissions for investing in one fund versus another. This structure keeps our interest completely aligned with our clients’ needs.
While we provide comprehensive financial planning for our clients, there is no additional charge for these services. In fact, we encourage our clients to consult with us on any and all financial concerns they may have, again at no additional charge. |
